Our February 28th in-person ceremony will abide all Public Health requirements
Last week B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that some COVID-19 restrictions could be lifted by B.C. Family Day, Feb. 21, 2022. As well, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam has reported that cases of the Omicron variant have peaked nationwide and the number of new infections has dropped significantly over the past week. Given this encouraging news we have high confidence that our in-person BC Care Awards Ceremony will happened as planned on the evening of February 28th. The current Public Health Orders restricting events remain in place until February 16th and we continue to monitor the situation.
The BC Care Providers Association proudly celebrates the exceptional passion and commitment of individuals that provide the best care possible to ensure the quality of life for seniors. Our annual awards ceremony is a place where our members and staff as well as elected officials come together to recognize and celebrate our winners.
We will be following all recommended public health guidelines. All attendees will have to show their proof of full vaccination and ID to attend the event. Masks are required to be worn in all common areas.
