Media release: 2023 BC Care Awards Winners and Proclamation of BC Seniors Care Providers Day

Burnaby, B.C. (March 1, 2023) – Yesterday evening, B.C. Minister of Health, Hon. Adrian Dix, presented awards to the winners of the 9th Annual BC Care Awards. The ceremony recognized workers that provide exemplary care for seniors and included categories in home health, long-term care, assisted living, as well as awards for long-service excellence and exceptional contributions from family members.

“Healthcare workers are essential for the safety and wellbeing of seniors in care,” says BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) and EngAge BC CEO, Terry Lake, “It’s important that we value them and recognize their dedication in providing the best possible care for older adults.”
