Dear members and friends across the sector,
As yet another year comes to an end, I would like to thank you for your continuous and dedicated work in supporting seniors across the province.
In 2023, we saw extraordinary efforts from operators during the wildfire season. Thanks to the commitment and responsiveness of our members, health authorities and Ministry staff, not only were affected residents promptly evacuated, but were also taken care of, supported, and safely returned home.
As an Association, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve our members and for the important work that they do. We also extend our appreciation for those working over the Christmas and New Year’s Day statutory holidays to support and care for B.C. seniors.
We look forward 2024, as we will soon celebrate our union with BC Seniors Living Association to further strengthen the seniors living, wellness and care sector.
