Rexall returns as title sponsor for Care to Chat’s seventh season

BC Care Providers Association is pleased to announce the return of Rexall Health Solutions as the title sponsor for Care to Chat. The speaker series sheds light on pressing issues in the seniors’ living sector, and brings thought leaders and experts together to engage in dialogue at a public forum.

“Rexall Health Solutions has been a proud partner of BC Care Providers Association since 2006 and has supported Care to Chat since its inception,” says Norman Hertzman, Director of Business Development at Rexall.

“Like BCCPA, we strongly support opportunities to enhance resident safety, care and overall experience through continuing education and open dialogue forums. Rexall Health Solutions is proud to support organizations that advocate for and support these same seniors that we provide pharmaceutical care for,” he adds.

“We are extremely pleased to continue our participation and support for the Care to Chat series.”

Season 7 will begin with an all-candidates debate, Canada Cares 2.0: Putting Seniors on the National Agenda on September 10th at Elim Village in Surrey. The panel, featuring candidates running in the 2019 federal election, will focus on the government’s role in seniors’ care.

“We’re glad to have Rexall back as the title sponsor and thank them for their partnership and continued support of BCCPA’s events,” says BCCPA CEO Daniel Fontaine.

“Care to Chat went back to its roots last year. We tackled controversial subjects such as medical assistance in dying, cannabis use among older adults, and risk and reputation in seniors’ care,” he says. “We intend to keep up this approach in season 7.”

Stay tuned as BCCPA announces the Care to Chat gold and silver sponsors in the coming weeks.
