At a 1950s -themed party at The Derby Manor last week, Engage BC launched Route 65, a ground-breaking online tool that helps match older adults with B.C.’s leading operators of independent living, assisted living, long-term and home health care services.
Route 65 has received an overwhelming response from the public. Web traffic on the site has been surging with 4,000 page views on the launch day and 9,500 page views since.
“I am most impressed with your website,” says a user from Victoria. “We have had experience with the disjointed and frustrating old way of searching for our parents and this is a tremendous breakthrough.”
“In Route 65, seniors and their family members have found an accessible and intuitive tool to find housing and wellness options that meet their needs,” says EngAge BC CEO Daniel Fontaine.
There are currently 140 operators listed on Route 65, and more joining every day. Premium and featured listings are in high-demand.
“So far, web traffic on Route 65 has been organic, but soon we will be launching paid radio, television and online advertisements that will drive a greater volume of visitors to the site,” says Fontaine. “We urge our members to take advantage of this opportunity and feature their sites on Route 65.”
