On behalf of BCCPA Board of Directors and staff, we are deeply saddened by the tragic events that unfolded during the Lapu-Lapu Festival in South Vancouver on April 26th. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all those affected by this devastating incident. We stand in unity with the Filipino community both here in B.C. and across the country as we grieve together.
The Filipino community has long been an integral part of our communities, especially in our seniors living and care communities. Every day, they inspire us with their compassion and good spirit, touching many lives across our province and country. We are profoundly grateful for their continued contributions today and every day.
