BCCPA and EngAge BC welcomes new Learning and Employment Skills Facilitator

BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC are pleased to announce the hiring of Farhad Jafari Basmenji to join the BCCPA Programs department as our Learning and Employment Skills Facilitator. Farhad will start his position today, November 8th.

Farhad will continue the work on the Home and Independent Living (HaIL) training program which prepares students in developing skills for work in home health and independent living. This position will also be responsible in teaching and delivering HaIL’s curriculum, assisting students with work placements, and will also seek for opportunities in expansion on other labour market programs.

Farhad holds an MA in Education, BA in English Language and Literature and is currently completing a certificate in Instructional Design and Technology.

Before joining the team, he worked at the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC) developing curriculum, teaching, and providing academic support, counseling, and feedback to adult learners.

In his spare time, Farhad loves to spend time with his family and friends.  A few interesting facts about our new team member is that he is an early bird and enjoys going to the gym to spend his mornings.
