Road Safety at Work: Home and Community Care Driving Safety Forum

The BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC have long supported employee safety programs and we are pleased to announce the latest iteration of  Road Safety At Work, a program funded by WorkSafe BC and managed by the Justice Institute of British Columbia. The program is running a confidential, online safety discussion series for home health care organizations this autumn. Employers who require workers to drive to client appointments are encouraged to attend and share road safety challenges and solutions.

If you’re an employer or manager in the community living or home health care sector, this is your chance to share experiences and learn safe driving strategies with your peers. Join one or all four of the free and confidential online discussions led by Road Safety at Work, starting on October 7th. Participants will receive resources, prevention strategies, and guidance on how to best prepare for your employees’ safety in these 75-minute sessions.
