What is a virtual conference (and why should I register for #BCCPA2021)?

We are mere days away from registration closing for our momentous #BCCPA2021 Annual Conference with a theme of Reflection, Resilience and Reinvention — hosted by BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC, thanks to the generous support of our Title Sponsor Handicare and so many of our fantastic exhibitor partners.

The COVID crisis has put a hold in-person conference events such as the memorable annual gathering at Whistler, BC. But from this challenge rose an incredible opportunity to bring people together through their computers and tablet devices. Our delegates knew that if there was any organization that would rise to the occasion, it would be BCCPA’s crack events team.

There are many of you, however, who are still unfamiliar with what it means to attend a “virtual” BCCPA annual conference. Over the past year, the platforms have evolved to create a truly satisfying experience, with many of the components of the live event hosted at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

First of all, we have the keynote presenters, panelists and thought leaders that make this a world class event. A $300 full conference pass is a real bargain when you get to hear from the people we have included on this content rich #BCCPA2021 program. There is also the chance to engage with your peers in our chat rooms, and during exhibitor presentations. Our commercial partners have stuck with our sector during this difficult year, and they are here in force to support this event. A delegate pass gives you a front row opportunity to see and learn more about the most innovative products and services the sector has available.

Finally, you get to have fun. This wouldn’t be a BCCPA conference if there wasn’t a game and a chance to win terrific prizes. If you’re still wanting to know more about the #BCCPA2021 event before clicking that registration link, then take a few minutes to listen to our video demo from our “conference queen” — our very own Cathy Szmaus, VP Operations and Corporate Partnerships and our expert on virtual conference events. Still have questions? Contact Cathy via email — cathy@bccare.ca. Join hundreds of delegates from our sector and see you at #BCCPA2021!
