Do you have 20/20 vision? What is your vision for the future of seniors’ care and living in B.C.?
BC Care Providers Association’s 43rd Annual Conference entitled 20/20: A Vision for Seniors will take a retrospective view of the past twenty years, and focus on what seniors’ care and living should look like twenty years from now.
Along with looking at best practices and innovative models and solutions being employed internationally, we will discuss how we can work collaboratively to meet the needs of a rapidly aging population with increasing expectations.
The 2020 Annual Conference will be held May 24-26th, 2020 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Our 2019 conference was a great success with over 500 attendees, including key health care experts such as Dr. Roger Wong (Executive Associate Dean, Education, UBC), Jo-Ann Tait (Corporate Director, Seniors Care and Palliative Services, Providence Health Care) and Sienna Caspar (Assistant Professor, University of Lethbridge).
We invite you to submit an abstract of what you propose to share with conference attendees, focusing on a future vision for seniors’ care and living. Presentations are allotted approximately 50 to 60 minutes of time, and presentations may take the form of a panel discussion or workshop session. Other formats may also be considered. You may submit more than one proposal. All proposals will be adjudicated by BCCPA’s Events and Recognition Committee (ERC).
We are looking for presentations or workshops in the areas of long-term care, assisted living, independent living, home health, faith-based care, as well as workplace health & safety. Tell us how you will ensure that your presentation is interactive and engaging, and what the learning objectives will be for conference delegates.
