The first application period of the Seniors Safety and Quality Improvement Program (SSQIP) is set to close on February 28th, 2018. The next open application period will launch in April 2018.
“Care providers who did not apply in the first application period have not missed out,” says BCCPA Director of Programs, Snezana Ristovski. “The program is designed to ensure funding is available between now and fall of 2019. There will be several opportunities to apply for funding over this period.”
Applicants whose funding requests have been approved will receive a confirmation letter from BCCPA in March 2018. Reimbursement is completed for the amount approved once receipts are submitted and verified.
Applicants also have the opportunity to request a 30-minute walk-through of the application process. If you have any questions, or would like to set up a walk-through, please contact Program Coordinator, Pamela Eng at pamela@bccare.ca.
We would like to thank the SSQIP Advisory Committee that is comprised of appointed representatives from the following organizations that work with care providers in B.C.:
-
- BC Ministry of Health (one rep)
- Denominational Health Association (one rep)
- SafeCare BC (one rep)
- BC Care Providers (two reps)
