Lieutenant Governor of B.C. Judith Guichon to attend BC Care Awards

BC Care Providers Association is pleased to announce the Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, will be attending the 5th Annual BC Care Awards on February 19th in Victoria.

“We are deeply appreciative that the Lieutenant Governor will be joining us as we celebrate those individuals who go above and beyond in providing the best care for B.C.’s seniors,” says BCCPA CEO Daniel Fontaine. “Having Her Honour in attendance, as well as a significant representation of the Members of the Legislative Assembly will make our 5th BC Care Awards ceremony the most memorable to date.”

The BC Care Awards recognize excellence in the delivery of seniors’ care in both home care and residential care, in promoting and supporting workplace safety, and as well to acknowledge longstanding leadership in the seniors’ care sector.

The awards will be presented by Minister of Health, the Honourable Adrian Dix. Hon. Darryl Plecas, Speaker of the House, and Anne Kang, Parliamentary Secretary for Seniors, will also be in attendance.

The following care providers will be recognized for their courage, passion and commitment to seniors’ care.
