BCCPA Welcomes Kiwanis Care Centre Society of New Westminster to Membership

cookcroppedThe BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) would like to welcome another new member to the family – Kiwanis Care Centre Society of New Westminster.

“The Kiwanis Care Centre Society of New Westminster is delighted to become a member of the BC Care Providers Association,” says Casey Cook, Board Chair of the Kiwanis Care Centre Society. “The Society has been impressed with the leadership shown, and the services provided, by the BCCPA. In these times when all of us in public care are expected to do more with less, it is critical that we all work together, and the BCCPA plays an important role in allowing that to happen.”

Founded in 1979 as the Kiwanis Intermediate Care Society, the care home opened in 1982 with the mission to continuously improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of care and services, resident satisfaction, promote health and safety activities for their residents and staff, and participate with other health agencies to promote the well-being of the community it serves.
