2nd annual Safety Den wants your “big ideas” for #BCCPA2017

2nd Annual Safety DenAre you ready to pitch your big safety idea or innovation to the Safety Den? Then be sure to enter the competition to win a big cash prize as well as bragging rights!

SafeCare BC is sponsoring one of the most exciting events at the BCCPA’s 40th Annual Conference (#BCCPA2017). This competition is unlike any other at #BCCPA2017 as it gives the opportunity for inventors to pitch their “big ideas” to improve the safety of those in care, as well as their caregivers. We are looking for submissions from both organizations and individuals who have ways to improve safety in a care setting.

The second annual Safety Den is a “Dragon’s Den” style event to search for the most innovative ideas for keeping health care providers safe in the workplace. Caregivers experience some of the highest injury rates of any occupation. The Safety Den is taking place at Fairmont Chateau Whistler on Monday, May 29th from 3:00- 4:30 pm.

Three finalists will be selected to pitch their safety innovations to our panel of safety ‘dragons’.

Today we are announcing our first judges for the Safety Den, Tracey Cochrane and Michael Neumann.
