BC Care Providers Association is pleased to invite members to a consultation session with Stephen Brown, Deputy Minister of Health. Brown announced he would be partnering with the BCCPA to host a half-day session to discuss the future of BC’s continuing care sector. We are pleased to announce that the consultation session is now tentatively scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 25th in Vancouver from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Further to our discussions with the Ministry, we have secured an opportunity for up to 35 BCCPA members to take part in this collaborative dialogue and discussion. Participants will have an opportunity to hear first-hand from the Deputy regarding a series of key policy papers which were made public on February 19th. Due to limited seating, registration for this event is on a first-come first-served basis – with a maximum of one representative per site. Final details regarding the time and location will be shared with registered participants as soon as they are finalized.
For our non-Metro Vancouver members, we are also looking into the possibility of live streaming components of session. If this is feasible, we will advise you of the details regarding how you can participate online. But for the time being, registration is limited to only those members who plan on attending this session in-person.
