10th Annual BC Care Awards
Everyday B.C.’s seniors care providers engage in challenging and inspiring work to ensure the quality of life for older adults. The BC Care Providers Association proudly celebrates the exceptional passion and commitment of individuals who provide the best care possible.
The Hon. Adrian Dix, Minister of Health, has been invited to present the awards in the following categories:
- BC Care Provider of the Year
- Awarded to a care provider or support worker in the home health, assisted living, and long-term care sectors employed by one of our members who has demonstrated a commitment to quality, compassion, and excellence in delivering and/or supporting the delivery of care to one or more of our residents and/or clients.
- Home Health
- Assisted Living
- Long Term Care
- Family Champion
- Recognizes the significant role of families in the care and comfort of seniors.
- Workplace of the Year
- Presented to an active member that demonstrates staff engagement, recognition, and a significant change in workplace culture.
- Ed Helfrich Long Service Excellence Award:
- Awarded to a member owner/operator or a member employee/contractor who has a 15+ year industry track record of developing and delivering quality care for individuals in care.
- Awarded to a care provider or support worker in the home health, assisted living, and long-term care sectors employed by one of our members who has demonstrated a commitment to quality, compassion, and excellence in delivering and/or supporting the delivery of care to one or more of our residents and/or clients.
