An associate member is a person, partnership, firm, corporation, or other legal entity which supports the purposes of BCCPA and wishes to be informed of the activities of the Society. Associate members should not be entitled to vote at meetings of the members of the Society, but may receive notice of and attend these meetings.

Associate members are not supposed to market or sell products or services to service providers. Example organizations are non-profit advocacy organizations, departments at educational institutions, or a non-commercial entity supporting older adults.

A service provider that is “under construction” and currently not providing any care services, is eligible for an Associate Membership until their care home, independent or assisted living residence is fully operational and serving clients.
