BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) is pleased to announce that applications are once again open for the Health Care Assistant (HCA) Training Program. This iteration of the fully funded program will be training 16 new HCAs in Vernon starting on December 9th, 2024.
Delivered in partnership with Discovery Community College via their HCA Diploma Program, the program will run over the course of 37 weeks, with 23 weeks of online theory and 14 weeks for community practice education.
The full cost of program tuition is covered for participants, with an additional up to $3,500 in additional participant training supports available.
