Executive Director of Operations at Providence Living Sharon Parkes to join #CaretoChat on care transitions

Are you interested in hearing more about improving care transitions for older adults?

Join us for the final Care to Chat event of season 11, titled “Bridging the Gaps — Enhancing Transitions in Elder Care” on April 18th at the Terminal City Club.  With both professional and personal perspectives, our panel of experts will delve into the critical challenges and urgent technological solutions to improve transitions for older adults as they move between community settings, acute care hospitals, and seniors care communities.

Included in this conversation is Sharon Parkes, Executive Director of Operations at Providence Living. Sharon has executive oversight of all Providence Living care village operations, including clinical, support services, HR, and activities related to community and assisted-living provincial licensing.

An RN by training, Sharon brings a wealth of experience to this role, having had the opportunity to work in many settings in addition to more than a decade’s worth of operational and strategic leadership experience. Sharon holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours from Sheffield Hallam University.

Join us for Care to Chat and be a part of this important conversation to help bridge the gaps in transitions in care for older adults.
