B.C.’s incredibly special Centenarians are invited to come together on National Centenarian Day, Friday, September 22nd, for a celebration at the Carl Mortensen Manor in Burnaby. Many Dignitaries will be attending, including the Mayor of Burnaby, Mike Hurley.
The event will begin at 11:30am as Centenarians arrive to walk and/or wheel the red carpet. Residents will be treated to a magnificent meal (diet restrictions will be adhered to) and will enjoy world-class entertainment from composer and erhu player, Jirong.
Following the meal, the Centenarians will be recognized individually and celebrated. The Dignitaries will say a few words and sign Centenarian attendees’ certificates, as a lasting souvenir of the event.
The Dania Home Society, BCCPA and EngAge BC member, is proud to host this event in honour of the remarkable Centenarians from across the Lower Mainland.
Centenarians are encouraged to bring a loved one. Please note that there is no cost to attend this event.
