Following the overwhelming success of the EquipCare BC program in helping protect seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic, B.C. Minister of Health, Hon. Adrian Dix, recently announced $14 million in funding for the program during BCCPA’s 46th Annual Conference. Over the next two years, the program will focus on investing in health, safety and quality improvements in long-term care homes and assisted living residences. The funding will help purchase items to promote safety and enhance quality of life for seniors.
