This week (May 8 – 14, 2023) is National Nursing Week, an important opportunity to recognize nurses across the country. Aligning with this year’s theme of Our Nurses, Our Future, BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) and EngAge BC would like to celebrate all nurses, their dedication and their commitment to providing the best care for seniors.
Whether a licensed practical nurse, a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, or a registered psychiatric nurse, nurses play a crucial role across the seniors care sector.
“When most people think about nursing, they think about roles in the acute care sector. However, there are many rewarding and meaningful opportunities to work with seniors. As our population ages, BCCPA encourages aspiring nurses to consider working in this important sector,” says Terry Lake, CEO, BCCPA & EngAge BC.
