Christine Sorensen announced as panelist for #CaretoChat

On October 20th, BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) will be holding the first session of the tenth season of Care to Chat at the Terminal City Club. This session is titled Should I Stay or Should I Go? Tips for Employers to Retain Valued Team Members and will feature an exciting lineup of panelists, including Christine Sorensen, Past President of BC’s Nurses’ Union.

Having served as the Past President of BC Nurses’ Union, Sorensen is also a Registered Nurse with frontline experience working in healthcare. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters of Health Leadership and Policy at the University of British Columbia. With both her frontline experience and leadership in nursing, Sorensen will bring her expertise to the discussion on addressing retention and recruitment challenges in healthcare.

Join us as we explore interventions to improve work environments for our healthcare workers and address health system drivers of burnout. Tickets are $85 for members and $135 for non-members and include a three-course lunch. Registration closes October 17th.
