The federal employment ministry recently announced changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program that will ultimately increase the number of TFWs allowed into Canada, and streamline the application process for employers. Changes include increasing the cap on TFWs from 10% to 20% for all employers, as well as increasing the duration of employment from two to three years.
If you want to learn more about how your organization can take advantage of the improved Temporary Foreign Worker program, register for an employer information session hosted by Immigrant Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), scheduled for June 1, 2022 at 9 am PST.
