Over the last year, UBC nurse researcher obtained input from diverse groups of LTC members (e.g., leaders, providers, families) representing five of BC’s regional health authorities through a series of five virtual discussion forums and a survey. The discussion forums provided a platform for LTC members to share their perspectives and experiences with pandemic management policies and practices in LTC.
Upon concluding the discussion forums, UBC School of Nursing would like to invite you to a final virtual debrief with LTC members representing all of BC’s regional health authorities to share our findings and co-develop recommendations for best pandemic management strategies across the BC LTC sector. Recommendations will be shared with the BC Ministry of Health, BC Care Provider Association and SafeCare BC.
