Today, October 1st, is National Seniors Day. BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC takes this opportunity to honour and celebrate older adults in communities across Canada. The Association expresses our gratitude for the significant contributions that Canada’s seniors have made, and is thankful for the experience and insight they provide to our current and future generations.
“The last year and a half has been an incredibly challenging time for older adults, we’d like to take the time to commemorate the difficulties that they may have experienced, as well as to honour their resilience during this time,” says CEO Terry Lake. “We express our respect and appreciation for the seniors who have continued to share experiences and knowledge with us and will continue to advocate for a stronger continuum of care.”
“On behalf of all BCCPA’s members and staff, we wish older adults across Canada a happy National Seniors Day and encourage all British Columbians to connect with the older adults in their life today,” says Lake.
