BC Care Providers Association congratulates Jen for her exemplary service in building our OHS organization
After seven years, Jen Lyle, CEO of SafeCare BC has left the organization. Saleema Dhalla, Sr. Director, Strategic Engagements and Development, took over as interim CEO, effective today (June 21).
Over the past seven years, SafeCare BC has many accomplishments under Jen’s leadership. From delivering training and education to thousands of people working in the continuing care sector, to developing hundreds of training and safety resources β from Safety Den and Tailored Outreach Program, to Operation Protect and Hearts and Hands. The work of SCBC has made the continuing care sector a safer, healthier place to be.
During the past 15 months of the COVID crisis, Jen and SafeCare BC has had an integral role in our sector’s pandemic response, including by participating in the weekly BCCPA / Ministry of Health / Sector Associations calls.
Jen and SafeCare BC have built strong relationships with employers, frontline workers, unions, WorkSafeBC, BC Care Providers Association, Denominational Health Association, Alzheimer Society of B.C., and Canadian Mental Health Association β BC Division, just to name a few. SafeCare BC promises the good work under Jen’s leadership will over the next few months, as they continue to build on this strong foundation to deliver on our vision of safe, healthy workplaces in the continuing care sector.
