BCCPA welcomes 3 new team members

BC Care Providers is pleased to announce the hiring of three new members to our team who will assist to achieve important goals in the seniors’ living and wellness sector.

Guilherme Teixeira, David Chau and Michelle Ho are bringing their experience and talent to the dynamic team at BCCPA.

Guilherme Teixeira has joined as the Learning Development and Education Manager for the new Seniors’ Health & Hospitality Training Program. Guilherme holds certifications in curriculum and instructional design, he has applied his knowledge through multiple learning methodologies and platforms during his previous role as an Instructor and Learning Specialist. He also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration as well as a Master in People Management. Before joining the team, he had worked in two different countries as a college instructor and in corporate training.

Guilherme looks forward to working with the team and developing a life changing learning opportunity, “Joining the BCCPA and EngAge BC has been a great joy- the team has been very friendly and welcoming and, on top of that, the opportunity to work with such a meaningful and socially relevant initiative makes this experience very pleasant and rich!”

David Chau takes on the role as our new Programs Coordinator, primarily supporting the Seniors’ Health & Hospitality Training Program as well as other new and growing programs. David brings project coordination and operations experience, managing multiple rollouts with tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and standards.

Michelle Ho will be replacing Rumana D’Souza as the Digital Media and Communications Specialist. Michelle joins BCCPA with experience in communications, event planning and human resources. She holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communications from Simon Fraser University and she has worked in a variety of organizations, from small local businesses to post-secondary institutes.

Michelle is excited to join the team, “It’s an honour to join BCCPA as I know the members of the team advocate for something that is crucial and helpful to our community, I look forward to sharing my skill sets with BCCPA to contribute to the senior community within the province.”

Guilherme and David will report to Snezana Ristovski, Director of Programs, while Michelle will report to Mike Klassen, Vice President of Public Affairs. They join other recent hires Melissa Grout and Jessica Whitecotton.
