An important changing of the guard took place today at SafeCare BC, our partner and the provider of occupational health and safety guidance for the continuing care sector. Three Links CEO and BCCPA board member David Hurford chaired his last SafeCare BC Annual General Meeting today, succeeded by Kerry Bowman from Bayshore Home Health.
David has acted as BCCPA’s board liaison to SafeCare BC in addition to his chair duties. Michael Neumann (Verve Living) will now take over as BCCPA’s SafeCare BC board liaison.
“On behalf of BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC, I would like to thank David Hurford for his years of service as SafeCare BC’s chair,” says BCCPA president Aly Devji. “David has played a significant part in establishing that organization, which is having a meaningful impact by lowering injury rates of workers in our sector. From his time as the past executive director to his time as chair, we are thankful for David’s leadership.”
