Attention BCCPA Members: Please take our new workforce survey

BCCPA is surveying its members once again to better understand how recruitment and retention challenges are affecting long-term care, assisted living and home health providers. The information collected in the survey will help support BCCPA’s ongoing advocacy efforts, as well as help identify communities that may be supported by HCA training.

BCCPA and Engage BC are asking that members respond to the survey before the March 19, 2021 deadline. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and will ask for information about worker vacancies for HCAs, LPNs, RNs, and Home Health Companions, as well as your organization’s experience with the new Health Career Access Program.

“The COVID crisis has highlighted the deep systemic challenges the continuing care sector is facing, particularly around staff shortages,” says BCCPA/EngAge BC CEO Terry Lake. “Our advocacy on HHR is made more successful by having good data and member engagement, so I would encourage all of our service provider members to take a moment to conduct this survey.”

If you have further questions, you are encouraged to contact Senior HHR Analyst Lara Croll at lara@bccare.ca.
