BC Care Providers Association is pleased to announce that Rick Smith, Director of Business Development, CareRX has been appointed as the commercial representative for 2020/21 on the Events and Recognition Committee, which is responsible for planning the Association’s year-round events, including the Annual Conference.
Rick Smith is a conference and tradeshow veteran with 19 years of experience as both an exhibitor and delegate, representing multiple industries such as hospitality to seniors’ care and sales.
“We’re pleased to have someone with Rick’s experience and enthusiasm on the events committee,” says Cathy Szmaus, VP, Operations and Corporate Partnerships. “He’s passionate about personally supporting our local industry and wants to ensure that all vendors, exhibitors and sponsors have a strong voice in the conference planning process.”
“After exhibiting at the BCCPA conference and tradeshow for the past eight years, I appreciate the opportunity to give back and contribute to the conference planning process,” says Smith. “I’m looking forward to working with Terry, Cathy, the BCCPA board and staff to make the next conference a big success!”
