BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC are pleased to announce TELUS Business as one of the gold sponsors for the 2020 Annual Conference featuring panel discussions, webinars, and a virtual exhibit hall with some of the globe’s expert medical professionals.
This is the third consecutive year TELUS Business has been a gold sponsor of BCCPA’s Annual Conference.
TELUS provides a diverse portfolio of seniors living solutions, powered by their PureFibre backbone. Their team of experts works with housing providers across Canada to create a bundle of solutions to fit each property’s needs, including resident Wi-Fi, Optik TV for Business, Smart Building solutions, back office internet and much more. New this year, Optik TV for Business’ Local Camera feature allows you to virtually run your recreational activities. As well, the new Smart Building – Care Management product can offer peace of mind to residents and their loved ones knowing that they are well taken care of.
“More than ever before, we know how technology can have a positive impact on the quality of life of our most vulnerable population during these difficult times,” says James Levy, Director, TELUS Business. “In our webinar, we are excited to be sharing the experience Menno Place had during the pandemic, and how they leveraged technology to help them make it through.”
Since the beginning of March, TELUS has donated $150 million to support Canadians throughout the COVID-19 crisis, including:
- Donating more than 14,000 devices, tablets and prepaid SIM cards valued at more than $8.75 million to help isolated seniors, hospitalized patients and vulnerable Canadians stay connected.
