Jesse Gadzinowski joins BCCPA as energy specialist

BC Care Providers Association is pleased to announce that Jesse Gadzinowski has joined our team as energy specialist—a new position created in partnership with FortisBC.

Gadzinowski has an advanced Diploma in Sustainable Energy and Building Technology, a BA in International Relations, an engineering technologist certification, and will receive his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation shortly. Jesse brings his client experience and energy analysis skills in a similar role from Ontario as an energy solutions consultant.

As energy specialist, Gadzinowski will monitor member energy consumption, develop strategies for cost-effective and energy-efficient improvements to company operations that result in natural gas energy savings, help members with their energy rebate paperwork submissions, and when possible conduct audits.

“I’m excited to be joining BCCPA at a time when the need for seniors’ care could not be more important,” says Gadzinowski. “There is a delicate balance between a high indoor environmental quality and the cost of maintaining it. I look forward to helping our members reduce energy costs while providing the best possible building performance for residents and staff.”

Gadzinowski will be reporting to BCCPA’s Director of Programs Snezana Ristovski.
