Burnaby, B.C. (May 14, 2020): BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) is proud to announce that the 2020 Annual Conference has been re-imagined as a “virtual” experience taking place over five days in September.
From September 21st to 25th, BCCPA will host its annual conference online with the theme “COVID-19: What Set B.C. Apart?”
Conference programming will delve into the impact of the novel coronavirus on the seniors’ living and wellness sector, and profile the best practices and collaborative approach that resulted in British Columbia having the lowest number of COVID-19 deaths per capita of any province, U.S. state, or western European country with at least five million people.
“In keeping with tradition, BC Care Providers Association is seeking to be bold and original in the face of adversity,” says BCCPA CEO Daniel Fontaine. “This virtual event will allow delegates from B.C., Canada, and around the world to attend the conference and learn more about Team B.C.’s effective response to the COVID-19 crisis.”
Conference organizers are inviting compelling and innovative leaders from all corners of the globe to join in our series of interactive plenaries and workshops. Delegates will enhance their knowledge and learn how to prepare for any future health emergencies, as well as being able to network with other delegates. Conference goers will participate in real-time question and answer sessions with leading experts from the seniors living and wellness sector. Plus, an online trade show will showcase the latest innovations in equipment and services for the sector.
“It is very important to our organization to support our members during this challenging time. We are making the 2020 conference accessible through lower cost and flexible pricing plans for both delegates and exhibitors,” says Fontaine.
