However, the use of social media in the workplace raises privacy implications for both employees and employers. And when it comes to recruitment of prospective workers, it can be hard to know if social media is more of a help or a hindrance.
Join us on February 5th as Andrea Zappavigna of Ally Workplace Law explores employer responsibilities and opportunities as it relates to the use of social media in the workplace.
Andrea will explain how organizations can develop policies on the appropriate use of social media in the workplace, as well as how employer can use their online tools to recruit workers without running afoul or privacy laws. Finally, Andrea will take participants on a deep dive into employee monitoring—such as ensuring that employer email is not being used to harass other employees, and that employees’ external communications do not cause reputational or business harm to your organization.
