In this interactive webinar, representatives from the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (SDPR) will provide an overview of the supports and services that local WorkBC can offer to employers looking to hire qualified staff.
At this webinar you will learn about:
- How to access supports from regional WorkBC offices;
- WorkBC’s employment supports for under- and unemployed clients including skills upgrading and occupational specific training; and
- Supports and Services that employers can access to recruit and retain potential job candidates, including placement services, wage subsidies, job coaching, and more.
Participants will also be given the opportunity to ask specific questions from SDPR experts and to provide input on their local workforce challenges.
