BC Care Providers Association is expected to make a landmark home health announcement on April 9th.
While followers will need to wait until next week to hear the details, BCCPA is encouraging providers to stay tuned to hear more about a development which will bring changes to B.C.’s home support sector.
“We are looking forward to sharing more information about our Quality Assurance in Home Support initiative, and will be asking providers to play an important role as we take next steps,” says Rebecca Morris, Manager, Public Affairs, Home Care and Assisted Living. “What we have planned will take support and involvement from across the sector, but has the promise of making a real difference in the lives of seniors,” she adds.
This news follows the recent release of Health Begins at Home, a bold policy paper focused on addressing opportunities in the home health sector.
