The Concerts in Care series that brings professional music performances to seniors in long-term care homes and assisted living sites is coming to the Kootenays on September 29. With over 40 individual performance dates, the concerts are organized by the Health Arts Society, and sponsored through a grant from the BC Care Providers Association.
The program offers residents, their families and staff an opportunity to enjoy stimulating, live 45-minute performances in the comfort of their care setting. The BCCPA has supported Concerts in Care over the years as part of its commitment to enhance the quality of life for seniors in BC.
Performances in the Kootenays include stops in Fernie, Cranbrook and Nelson.
- Sept 29 at 10.30 a.m.| Rocky Mountain Village | 55 Cokato Road, Fernie (see poster)
