The BC Care Provider’s Association (BCCPA) is pleased to announce the return of Rexall Health Solutions, a division of Rexall, as the Title Sponsor for Season 5 of the nationally recognized Care to Chat speaker series.
Launched in 2013, over 3,000 paid guests have attended the 16 events that have taken place both in Vancouver and Whistler.
“We are excited to have Rexall Health Solutions return in support of a fifth season of the Care to Chat Speaker Series,” says BCCPA CEO Daniel Fontaine. “Rexall Health Solutions’ ongoing partnership with BCCPA has been integral toward making this important dialogue on Canadian seniors care happen. Their support of this important initiative is appreciated by everyone within our sector.”
For our first Care to Chat event of the season — happening on Friday, October 6, 2017 — BC Care Providers is focused on the growing need for culturally appropriate care. The event them, “Embracing Diversity: Providing Culturally Appropriate Care for British Columbia’s Aging Population” will discuss how British Columbia is currently undergoing significant demographic shifts that are making it more ethnically and culturally diverse. Tickets are going fast and we anticipate a full house for the kickoff event as it happens to coincide with the Annual General Meeting for the BCCPA. This is the first time the AGM is scheduled to take place at the same time as a Care to Chat event. In previous years it took place at the Annual Conference held in May in Whistler.
“Rexall Health Solutions is proud to return as the Title Sponsor for season 5 of the Care to Chat Speaker Series,” says Norman Hertzman, Director of Business Development. “We are particularly pleased to support the ongoing dialogue and innovative ideas for continuing care that enhance the health and wellness of seniors in British Columbia.”
The BCCPA will be announcing our gold and silver sponsors later this week.
