Provincial BCCPA “Listening Tour” to kickoff in Kootenays

BC Care Providers Association members operate in all parts of our great province, which is why we are setting out to meet them face-to-face in the coming weeks through our 2017 “CEO Listening Tour”. During these gatherings among our members, we want to hear from you about your achievements, as well as your challenges. As the leading advocates for home and community care in B.C., we want to hear from you so we can tell the public and our politicians about the state of continuing care in our province.

Daniel FontaineThe 2017 “CEO Listening Tour” kicks off on April 11th, 2017. Our CEO Daniel Fontaine flies into Castlegar, BC to meet with our members, local media and stakeholders.

“I very much look forward to hearing from those who are delivering frontline care in the Kootenays,” says Fontaine. “The challenges faced in towns like Castlegar, Trail, Rossland and Nelson are often unique to each community. The work of the team at BC Care Providers Association will be strengthened by gaining first-hand knowledge of what is happening outside of the Lower Mainland and across B.C.”

The first stop will be at Rose Wood Village, where Fontaine will meet with staff.

In the afternoon, he will conduct a roundtable at Castle Wood Village with their management team.
