Listening Tour continues: Okanagan Valley and Vancouver Island

BCCPA CEO Daniel Fontaine continues his CEO listening tour on Wednesday, April 26th, in Kelowna, BC. After a successful kick off in the West Kootenays, Fontaine is eager to learn more about the key priorities and issues facing care providers in the Okanagan Valley.

The Listening Tour was organized in order to learn more about the challenges and opportunities of seniors care providers outside of the Lower Mainland. The dialogue between Fontaine, BCCPA members, local media and elected officials gives our organization a stronger understanding of the needs of B.C. seniors within their respective communities. This information in turn strengthens our advocacy at all levels of government.

Following Fontaine’s Kelowna visit, he will be making several Vancouver Island stops in early May. Current meeting locations include:

We invite all BCCPA members applicable to each location to attend these roundtable meetings with Fontaine. He will focus on discussing the Plecas Action Plan, the 2017-2020 BCCPA Strategic Plan, BCCPA’s regional outreach strategies and the BC Quality and Safety Program at the meetings.
