MEDIA ADVISORY: BC Care Providers Association hosts inaugural BC Continuing Care Collaborative

Vancouver, BC [September 19, 2016] – Tomorrow, in partnership with the BC Ministry of Health, the BC Care Providers Association is hosting the most comprehensive gathering of stakeholders ever assembled in British Columbia for a dialogue on the future of seniors care in our province. The day will feature a keynote speech by Darryl Plecas, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health for Seniors and MLA for Abbotsford South representing the Government of British Columbia.

In addition to the views of our stakeholders, BCCPA has conducted a public survey on seniors care that received over 750 responses, of which nearly 60 percent were seniors. The public will be invited to participate in the Collaborative via social media using the hashtag #BCC3. Regular updates will be made available online via Facebook Live (at our BC Care Providers page) and via tweets @BCCareProviders on Twitter.
