Denominational Health Association – The BCCPA continues to work with the DHA on a couple of projects. They include the Annual Ministers Lunch event which took place on October 16th.
In addition, we are looking to collaborate with DHA on the new faith based stream of workshops that we are developing for our 2015 Annual Conference taking place in Whistler. We should have more to report on this initiative before the end of the year.
Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) – The BCCPA was approached by the CCHL to determine our interest in becoming a sponsor for the Health Leaders Conference taking place on October 22-23, 2014. We have agreed, and are proud to be a bronze sponsor. Both President Dave Cheperdak and I are attending this event and representing the BCCPA.
In addition, the BCCPA has been working with the CCHL on other key partnerships. We will be in a position to make a great announcement on this in early November. Stay tuned.
BC Seniors Living Association (BCSLA) – The BCCPA recently sent our Director of Policy and Research to attend and participate in the BCSLA’s annual conference held in Kelowna in September. It was a great opportunity for him to learn more about the BCSLA and its members.
The BCCPA is also exploring a unique opportunity to partner with the BCSLA early in the new year. We hope to be in a position to make that announcement in early November. Once again…stay tuned!
