It’s a touching video of two people making a difference in the lives of BC’s seniors. Georgia Del Rosario is a care aide and Paul Brar is a licensed practical nurse working at NorthCrest Care in Delta. Our short two minute videography helps showcase why becoming a care worker in British Columbia can be such a rewarding profession.
In the special video, you hear directly from Del Rosario as she explains why she enjoys working so much with seniors. “It is challenging, but it is rewarding,” says Georgia. “Challenging because we deal with behaviours. And rewarding because after taking care of them I get to smile, and I like that.”

For his part, Brar helps to explain why being an LPN can be such a rewarding career. “It takes a lot of patience to work in a special care unit. I think I am a very patient person. I am very responsible and accountable for my own actions. I really enjoy working in a special care unit.”
In one of the more tender moments of the video, a resident interrupts Brar as he’s being interviewed. His resident-focused approach to care was on full display…but we’ll let you watch to see how the story ends.
