Put your idea to the test at the Safety Den

Check out last year’s Safety Den finalists.

Do you have an idea or innovation that will help prevent workplace injury, and improve the health and safety of continuing care workers? We want to hear from you!

SafeCare BC is holding its third-annual Safety Den, an exciting Dragon’s Den style competition that highlights safety innovations in both long-term care, home care, and community and health support.

Three finalists will be selected to compete for cash prizes at the Safety Den, which will be held at the 2018 BCCPA Annual Conference on Monday, May 28.

The finalists will present their safety innovations to a panel of judges, whom we call Safety Dragons. Probing questions from our Dragons, moderator and audience will make for an entertaining and interactive experience.

Prize money is sponsored by Points West Audio Visual

First prize: $1,000
Second prize: $750
Third Prize: $500

To apply, tell us about your safety innovation in a 2-minute video or a word submission of 300 words or less. Submissions should be emailed to Ken Donohue at kdonohue@safecarebc.ca. The deadline for submissions is April 13th.
