After the success of the EquipCare BC program in helping protect seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic, B.C.’s Minister of Health Adrian Dix announced another $8 million dollars of funding for the program during his opening remarks at the #BCCPA2022 Annual Conference. This BCCPA-managed program will continue to support publicly-funded long-term care homes and assisted living residences. This funding will be used to purchase items to enhance infection prevention and control and improve safety and quality of life for seniors.
Applications for the new EquipCare BC funding are now officially open.
