BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) is pleased to announce Mark Dame, National Business Development Healthcare Manager with Gordon Food Service, as the Commercial Representative for the 2027 Conference Committee. Elected by 2026 Annual Conference exhibitors, Mark will serve as their representative on the Conference Committee, a subcommittee of the Events and Recognition Committee (ERC), as it plans for the 2027 Annual Conference.
For the past 12 years, Mark has been with Gordon Food Service and and has held various leadership roles with a dedicated focus of supporting and building strong relationships with their customers and the residents in their care. He is a member of their leadership team for Healthcare and Senior Living.
Prior to joining Gordon Food Service, Mark came from the hospitality industry with a culinary background in hotels and operations in senior living. His last 21 years in the food service industry have given him the experience and insights to see healthcare and senior living operators from various perspectives to help work alongside them to achieve their goals and initiatives. He has a heart for serving seniors and those in need; along with a passion to support customers with the tools, education, and resources available that he can share on behalf of Gordon Food Service.
On a personal note, Mark and his family operate a small farm near Vernon, B.C. where they also provide local products within their community.
The ERC looks forward to working with Mark as it plans its biggest conference to date!
