Following the release of BC Care Providers Association’s (BCCPA) health human resources report, A Roadmap for B.C.’s Seniors Care Workforce, BCCPA recently met with officials from the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to discuss immigration pathways for seniors care workers employed by our members.
BCCPA is pleased to share that eligible health care workers employed by non-government seniors care providers are now able to apply through the BC PNP. This represents an important opportunity for employers seeking to recruit and retain international talent.
To help members understand the program, eligibility requirements, and application process, BCCPA will be co-hosting an educational webinar with officials from BC Provincial Nominee Program at the end of July. The webinar will include an overview of program updates to the BC PNP and provide space for employers to ask questions.
