Lunch & Learn: U-First!® Dementia Training in Action – Insights from Elim Village and Broadmead Care

Join BCCPA’s Lunch and Learn for a practical discussion on implementing U-First!® dementia training in long-term care, with insights from Elim Village, Broadmead Care, and the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon.

About the Panel Discussion:

What does it take to successfully implement and sustain dementia education in long-term care? Join educators from Elim Village, Broadmead Care, and the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon for a practical discussion on implementing U-First!® dementia training in long-term care.

Hear how Elim Village and Broadmead Care introduced U-First!®, supported staff uptake and sustained learning across their teams. The webinar will include a brief overview of the program and recent updates, followed by reflections on implementation, lessons learned and considerations for other long-term care homes.

Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas and ask questions about sustaining workplace learning and advancing person-centred dementia care. This webinar is ideal for long-term care leaders seeking strategies to support staff education while funding is available.
