Attend our webinar on U-First!® dementia training this World Alzheimer’s Month

A dementia diagnosis can feel overwhelming, but no one has to navigate the journey alone. Resources and support are available to help people living with dementia, along with the people who care for them, continue to find joy, meaning, and connection along the way.

This World Alzheimer’s Month, BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) encourages everyone to take time to understand, learn more, and share information about dementia. To support long-term care operators in implementing dementia training across their care teams, BCCPA will be hosting a Lunch & Learn webinar on U-First!® dementia training on September 22.

Presented in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon, the webinar will feature a brief overview of the U-First!® dementia training program, with insights from Elim Village and Broadmead Care on how they introduced the program, supported staff uptake, and sustained learning across their teams.
